We were really frustrated when we found the restaurant closed one night without any warning. No signs or notes around to explain why, so we had to scramble to find food elsewhere. Just a simple heads-up would have been nice!

We had a really enjoyable stay in the winter.
Triple room had facilities you could need. A walk-in shower in the open bathroom was a plus:)))

I have stayed here before, and it is still a relaxing experience. The location is perfect and the staff are affable! It's in a new building in the good area. The hotel's restaurant is very clean for breakfast and dinner.

I had a good stay at the Argosy. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially when my ferry was delayed. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a fantastic shower in a large bathroom. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the on-site restaurant, which offered a good variety of reasonably priced pub-style meals. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the ferry terminal, making my travels so much more convenient.
Not one thing! 😊.

The location offered was perfect so close to IGA supermarket, Devonport off-and-on the boat to Melbourne, and a bistro attached. The staff was excellent and extremely friendly and check in was easy. The room was great-sized and reasonably priced with a view, we were happy about that.

I had a great stay over New Year's! The location is super convenient, especially if you arrive by ferry since it's just a stone's throw away from the wharf. The staff were friendly and cute, which made a great impression. I also loved the spacious, clean room and found the giant shower to be a real treat after a long day of traveling.
The bistro closed way too early for my taste, especially since we got in late from the ferry. It felt a bit rushed having staff hovering as we finished our meal. Oh, and if you're a vegan, your options might be a bit limited, so keep that in mind!

Conveniently located near the ferry, the spacious rooms are clean and well-equipped. The staff are friendly, and the dining options are great—perfect for a meal without needing to drive. Just be aware of the high step from the carpark; It can be a bit tricky!

The room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay, though the bathroom could use a bit more attention. Despite a cold bath, the electric blanket was a cozy touch. The dining experience fell short, and the meal quality for our large group left much to be desired; my steak was far from the requested doneness, and service recognized the issue promptly. it’s a decent stopover while exploring the area.

Priced over a hundred dollars, I expected more amenities; a complimentary bottle of water would have added a nice touch. The database indicated various room options, which provided flexibility in choosing my ideal stay.
I experienced some disturbances due to the noise from passing traffic and a nearby train that disrupted my sleep. Despite being a minor inconvenience, it detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

I was really impressed with the value for money and how comfortable the room was—it was spacious and recently renovated. The location was perfect, just a quick drive from the ferry terminal, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast selection could benefit from more fruit options.
